When asked what was the most important
thing about being a Volunteer Firefighter the most common reply was
“Courage, Dedication, and Professionalism”.
So when it's 110+ degrees outside and
you're sitting in a nice cool house, sipping on a cold drink, remember the
men and women of our Volunteer Fire Department who may be racing to any and
all fire or emergency calls, wearing protective gear that is just barely
tolerable out in the desert during the winter months.
So, when you see one of these selfless
volunteers on the street smile and say “Thank You” for you know they are not
in it for the money. It’s the PRIDE!
