Board of Directors Meetings
The Salton Community Services District Board of Directors have a public
business meeting on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 7pm at the
District Office located at 2098 Frontage Road in Salton City.

The Board of
Directors consists of five members elected at large. The Directors serve
alternating four-year terms. Vacancies in the office of Director
shall be filled by appointment by the remaining Directors or by special
election.
Directors are
responsible for establishing policies and guidelines that further the
common interests of the District as a whole. The Board shall
act only by ordinance, resolution, or motion passed by a majority of the
Board.
All
legislative sessions of the board shall be public.

General
Manager - Thomas
R. Cannell The General Manager is employed by
the Board of Directors and serves at their pleasure. He/She is
the Executive Officer of the District and for the Board of Directors.
The General Manager administers the District, has exclusive management and
control of the operations and works of the District, subject to approval
by the Board of Directors, and provides day-to-day leadership of the
District.

Assistant General Manager
/ Secretary -
Rosa Reagles During Board meetings the Secretary
is responsible for accurately recording the minutes of the meetings.
While during daytime working hours the Assistant General Manager works
under the supervision of the General Manager as they carry out the daily
business of the District. In his/her absence, the Assistant
General Manager has all of the powers and duties of the General Manager. |
