THREE GOOD GARDENING IDEAS 

Idea #1 – THINK SMALL.

    For a low maintenance garden, the smaller the space, the less work it will be. You don’t have to be satisfied with low yields from a small garden. A small 20x20 ft garden can often produce as many fresh vegetables as a garden 3 times its size, with much less work. 

Idea #2 – RAISED BEDS / WIDE ROWS.

    One of the most important features of a low maintenance garden is the use of raised beds. (more)

Our little winged friends may eat nectar, plant sap, rotting fruit and even animal dung. They are generally attracted to brightly colored flowers that are shallow and wide enough to provide a perching platform. Many commonly planted flowers like petunias and geraniums were developed for their appearance rather than their ability to produce nectar and do not attract the hungry passers by. (more)
