THREE GOOD GARDENING
IDEAS
Idea #1 – THINK SMALL.
For a low maintenance

be satisfied with low yields from a small garden. A small 20x20 ft garden
can often produce as many fresh vegetables as a garden 3 times its size,
with much less work.
Idea #2 – RAISED BEDS /

A garden that is
dedicated to butterflies is a hit to any of our year round as well as our
migrating butterflies. Our little winged friends may eat nectar, plant

perching platform. Many commonly planted flowers like petunias and
geraniums were developed for their appearance rather than their ability to
produce nectar and do not attract the hungry passers by.

Contrary to what one
might think, wiping
out all of the pests in a garden is not a desirable outcome; Without
aphids, your lady bugs would starve. If we want butterflies we must share
the leaves of our plants with caterpillars. Without bacteria and fungi
nothing would breakdown to organic matter for the plants to eat.
Everything has its place and purpose in the world of gardening.
